I'm impressed with your spiritual beliefs in this well written post.
There is no doubt that the influence of the main organised religions has broken down savagery and promoted civilization. Some of the pagan gods were vicious murderers, based of course on the worst of humanity.
I have worked with and known some people who follow christianity and other religions.
Now on occasion I would ask them questions about their beliefs and rituals/holy days and such and we would have an interesting discussion about it. Never had a big row with anyone as I try and respect their beliefs and if I am curious enough to ask, more…
