yes I do. He has promised to provide the needs of all who trust Him - and I believe He does.
I personally have experienced His provision in times of hardship. Not always in money as He promises to meet needs not wants, but He has hasnt let me down in the 30 years I have been a Christian. more…

Well said NG. Free will is such an interesting concept and one where most people who have it abuse it and do not cherish it at all. They have no idea how lucky they are.. more…

Ohh just read that and it didn't read right, wasn't referring to you was just making a sweeping statement about people who do tend to force their views and will on others:)

There are a few out there that are doing the same thing.
This man came and baptised my child and while I was recitent about him I have to say a lot of what he says makes a lot of sense to me:

Once Bible cited about The Great Flood during the time of Noah. Usually serve as a reminder for us to return back to God and repent our sins. But take it easy, now at this present time, God will not punished us with this Big flood, when we see the Rainbow He will not, as promised. Just a reminder and a little pinch for everyone to return back to Hi more…

Been there, mate, been there. It's hard. I'm down to just the stuff that means the most to me--and it probably is still too much. Anyone who dismisses having to clear out your life's "collection," either has never had to do it, or in not a person who cares about stuff like that, to begin with. It hurts. more…

Stuff is good, not necessary but definitely important to some of us. Although we skipped a lot when we left England over 2 years' ago, I am toying with the idea of hiring a skip when we unpack the container. I we haven't used things in 2 years, maybe we don't need them? more…

I'm impressed with your spiritual beliefs in this well written post.
There is no doubt that the influence of the main organised religions has broken down savagery and promoted civilization. Some of the pagan gods were vicious murderers, based of course on the worst of humanity.

I have worked with and known some people who follow christianity and other religions.
Now on occasion I would ask them questions about their beliefs and rituals/holy days and such and we would have an interesting discussion about it. Never had a big row with anyone as I try and respect their beliefs and if I am curious enough to ask, more…

As a non-Christian I can tell you that nothing irks me more than the evangelist.
When walking past my local "happy clappy" church in Bristol, or 'The Church of Saint Filofax of the Lesser Volvo' as I liked to call it, I was constantly assailed and harangued by churchgoers, and on one occasion virtually assaulted as a man tried to dra more…
